PINGS
“Pings” are a form of Nonverbal Communication in Video Game Spaces. Pings are a method of drawing attention to an object or location within a Video Game Space. Pings may take a number of forms depending on the context and individual Video Game Space. The form of the Ping may include both visual effects and auditory effects. Pings may in form be a combinations of, arrows, exclamation points, unique symbols, and ringing sounds.
